About Me
I believe that life is a journey that requires a constant transformation, and in order to transform we first need to know ourselves. Become familiar with who we are in essence. It is easy to accept that we are physical bodies because we can see them, we can sense our physicality. However, to recognize our inner self is a completely different story, it is a lifelong journey that evolves every day when we become aware that we are more than a physical body, everything starts making sense about ourselves, others, and our environment.
However, it is easier said than done, because when we go through life challenges, we feel frustrated, confused, thinking that life was unfair. Why me? We asked that questions when we feel like victims of our circumstances. When fear is so intense and the threat appears real, and we have to decide whether to fight, flight, freeze or fall. What I have learned in my own experience is that to change anything in life. We need to take responsibility, not necessary of what happened to us, but the decision that what happened to me would not define me or determine my future. Learning the art of letting go of what is not serving me or my purpose, and allowing myself to climb the mountain, not to be seen by others, but to being able to see the bigger picture, from a different stand point.
I believe that the details of what happened to us are not what is important. What is relevant is that because of all the challenges I discovered my truest better version of myself. It happened because finally I pay attention, I took the time to be still, I was willing to empower and transform myself. Our inner voice is always trying to signal that is time, to change. When chaos shows up in our lives, it is a time to re-evaluate, it is the call for change.

ONE THING I ALWAYS KNEW ABOUT MYSELF WAS THAT I AM RESILIENT.
Sometimes things get worse before they get better. In 2005, I had a massive car accident, at the time I was alone, my children were overseas. I suffered so many fractures, it was a long recovery. It caused me so much pain physically, emotionally and financially. My resilience was challenged, I didn’t know how I was going to bounce back from this. Specially, when we self-judge, feel guilty, vulnerable, anxious about what the future will hold.
It was painful to get back on my feet, I had to start a new life; and my first journey was to accept the changes. Reconnect with my true self, who I was, why I was here on this planet. I examine my life from every angle, my beliefs, my values. I can adapt to changes, however, the one thing I did not accept was the idea to be stuck doing nothing. So, I pray, meditate, and I got my answer. I Knew since I was a young girl, I wanted to be a psychologist or a social worker. “Helping People to Live their best Life” So, I follow my inner direction. When back to study Counselling as a mature age student. I felt in my heart this is the platform from where I could serve in a way that could be meaningful and transformative. I am academically, experientially, and spiritually prepared, Life is always trying to teach us, we just need to listen to the whispers. I am committed to a continuously professional and spiritual growth. My life has changed, I know who I am I take care of myself, I am grateful, I love humanity. I love to be a Counsellor and witness the transformation of the people I serve.
It is possible to empower and transform our lives; what is required is commitment, and to take responsibility for your destiny.
Life is a journey of Transformation, and every day is an opportunity given to us to heal ourselves and to contribute to healing others.
