My Approach
​I help women of all ages and young people through the challenges they face in their lives including anxiety, depression, panic attacks. Whether is difficult relationships, domestic and family violence, stress-related to work, isolation, life transitions, and traumatic situations.
I use evidence-based approaches that can assist to tap into the inner resources and strengths to create balance and reduce stress. These approaches include Person-Centred Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Self-compassion and Mindfulness, Psychoeducation and Spiritual guidance. Every client is treated is unique and I treat then according to their individual needs.

There is evidence that the collaborative and a helping relationship developed in the counselling process can assist in regulating emotions, gain greater insights confidence, and ability to view things from a different perspective, set goals and be motivated to achieve them.

Counselling is often the first and usually one of the best weapons we have against a whole range of psychological issues like depression, grief and anxiety. You could be doing everything right, leading a model life, exercising and getting all the nutrients you need in your diet. When your mind, brain and heart are out of balance due to the stressor of life or past experiences all your efforts would be only a way to cope not to address and heal and aligned MIND BODY & SPIRIT.

Mental health has often been a taboo subject but now people are beginning to speak about mental health much more. But, counselling is not just for mental health problems, it’s also useful for things like relationship problems, difficult life events and behavioural problems.
Having someone to talk to, who is there specifically to listen about your feelings, in a confidential manner is an invaluable boon to people. Often people find solace in talking to friends or family, for some people, this can be a barrier to openly and honestly discussing your issues. Talking to a professional counsellor feel more comfortable knowing that you can be transparent and without fear of judgement.
